As we reflect on the past year at Livewell Counselling Services, one word truly captures it — growth. This year has been incredibly busy, rewarding, and full of positive change, as we have continued to evolve both as a service and as a community of professionals.
One of the most significant developments this year has been coming together as a strong group of associates under the Livewell banner. This has allowed us to collaborate more closely, share expertise, and strengthen the support we offer to those who access our services. At the heart of this has been our Director, Tracy Flux, whose leadership and vision have guided Livewell through a year of expansion and reflection.
Alongside this growth, time has been spent giving our office space a thoughtful makeover. Creating an environment that truly reflects our values was important to us, and the result is a warm, comfortable space that feels like a little oasis of calm. Clients often comment on how welcoming and grounding the space feels, and we are proud to offer an environment that supports emotional safety and wellbeing from the moment someone walks through the door.
This year, we have also delivered a range of workshops to educational establishments, focusing on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the long-term impact these can have. In addition, we were privileged to deliver training to staff at Victim Support, with a focus on maintaining and strengthening resilience while working with deeply emotional and challenging material. Supporting professionals who support others remains a key part of our work.
Our expertise has increasingly been recognised beyond our immediate setting. We have been approached by business charities, universities, schools, and support services to provide supervision, allowing us to extend our reach and support those working across education, care, and wellbeing sectors.
Strengthening our connection with the wider community has also been a priority. We are proud to sponsor Chorley Wanderers FC, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to men’s mental health and the importance of wellbeing in all areas of life, including sport and community spaces.
In the digital space, our Livewell community has continued to grow. We now have an active and engaged Facebook and Instagram community of over 500 followers, helping us share resources, raise awareness, and stay connected with those who value the work we do.
None of this would be possible without the trust and support of our partners, clients, and wider community. Thank you for choosing Livewell and for continuing to walk alongside us. As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited to keep growing, strengthening our services, and continuing to support wellbeing with care, compassion, and integrity.
